Rakuten Advertising: Ukraine Update

Like everyone around the world, we at Rakuten Advertising are closely watching events unfold in Ukraine and throughout the region.  

We proudly maintain a workforce of talented individuals in Ukraine and have sister companies with hundreds of employees in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. We have confirmed their safety, asked them to prioritize their well-being and offered financial and relocation assistance. We are pleased to advise that everyone on our team has reported in as unharmed.  

In addition to providing direct support to our colleagues, Rakuten Advertising feels strongly that we should not facilitate business activity in the region during this difficult time. As a result, we have paused performance marketing and media placements for the foreseeable future.
