Few things in life are guaranteed to spark joy the way that Rakuten Optimism will this year. Bestselling author and tidying expert Marie Kondo will headline Optimism, which will be held on October 23rd at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.
Kondo, also a successful entrepreneur as the founder of KonMari Media, Inc., will host the final session of Optimism titled “Does It Spark Joy?” Her session will focus on how attendees can find ways to spark joy in their business and personal lives. In addition to Kondo, the speaker lineup at Optimism includes several must-see sessions for any and all digital marketers:
- Gopi Kallayil, Google’s Chief Evangelist of Brand Marketing, will be presenting a session titled “Brand Building in the Digital Age.” Kallayil’s session will focus on helping digital brands create an emotional connection in an era where consumers are more curious and less patient than ever before.
- Lee Carter, Head of Banking Development at Rakuten Americas, will be presenting a session titled “Banking on the Future.” Banking and payments are increasingly becoming mobile first as consumers become more comfortable doing more on their smartphones. Carter will talk about how the power of the Rakuten ecosystem can help retailers and financial services companies join forces to better serve their customers while also talking about how banks can take a more smartphone centric approach overall.
- Sucharita Kodali, Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester, will be holding a can’t-miss session titled “3 Things the World’s Greatest Marketers and Digital Executives Are Doing.” Kodali has established herself as one of the foremost experts on ecommerce and trends in the online shopping space over the course of her career.
