Through this new feature, advertisers can better plan for future campaigns and promotional periods by removing the guesswork with access to on-demand forecasting and budget planning insights. This means clients can make strategic decisions based on their historical programme data, in combination with proprietary network and benchmarking insights.

    Our global advertisers can access the forecasting tool directly within IAP. IAP provides forecasts across each programme’s accounts and regions, utilising all applicable associated data.

    Affiliate clients at any service level can take advantage of our forecast and budgeting tool, provided that they have been partnering with Rakuten Advertising for at least one year. In order to provide the most accurate directional insights, our Intelligent Analytics Platform (IAP) requires a continuous stream of order data spanning 360 days.

 

Rakuten Advertising Affiliate Forecasting gives advertisers projections for net sales, clicks, orders and net commission metrics based on parameters you set for the program:

  • Choose a metric for forecast output
  • Set a time window and data output (up to 12 months in the future)
  • Define the desired granularity of the forecast
  • Optional: Set a custom budget for the period
  • Optional: Outline your promotional calendar for the forecast period

How can you access Affiliate Forecasting?

Affiliate Forecasting is available at no additional costs to all Rakuten Advertising affiliate clients. If you’re an existing affiliate client you will need to make sure that you’re accessing the Insights & Analytics Portal using your Unified Login credentials.
